Democracy can't work if the Congress is intimidated and censored by the White House. The White House has tried to intimidate Congress and made them vote on the war right before the election. That is an egotistic power play that threatens all of us as it forces Congress to support the policy of the White House. If we can't openly debate the issues without being called a traitor then we are not living in a true democracy.

Right here, last night, someone said that a vote for Kerry was a vote for Bin Ladin and the terrorists``..............what kind of democratic process does that fool advocate? Gestapo tactics?

When I read that post last night I was remembering someone from the right that didn't believe that Max Cleland could be called a traitor..............well last night we got proof that it's at least a possibility........here` is the post:`
