I doubt Kerry would get us out of iraq as quickly as I would like, but I do think he will get us out.

I agree, Kerry is smart enough to change policies when the underlying circumstances change. I don't think he will change his position during the campaign but I trust him to be more than an on/off switch with a stutter like the current resident.

OK, you're one voter for Kerry because you assume he doesn't mean what he says. It's good you can be honest about it.

I'm gonna be watching the Dem convention to see whether he says this kind of thing in front of his Democratic supporters. Maybe he'll say it and give an exaggerated wink afterward so his supporters will know to cheer.
