Yeah. And lose grandfathering and get stuck with current membership rates.

If Bob intends to real names private, he needs to say so. For a lot of people, this is an important matter. In my own case even knowing my real name you'd have a real hard time finding me. But there are people that's not true of. Lots of them. Maybe a statement by Bob that real names will not be available would put the whole matter to rest.

Unless, of course, someone intentionally chooses to use their real name. And there should be a grace period during which people can switch from real names to aliases with the provision that the real name will not later be trackable.

Hey, maybe a new thread drew attention to this it wouldn't get otherwise.

Perhaps there could be a provision to remove the alias change history record in certain cases... particularly where a real name was used.

I would prefer that or at least offer that option to people who first signed up using their real names
