Searle, your view about the near term future for the POG seems to be shared by many including most contributors to the forums here on SI that I follow. Seems to be an almost universal pessimism about the near term anyway. The US dollar is soaring for some reason I don't understand and gold speculation was dealt a big blow consequently. I just can't see the FED raising interest rates very far or fast any time soon. Have you been following the S.A. gold scene? From my readings, many miners are really up against it, and this latest drop and pessimism may be the proverbial straw for some?
