Couldn't resist.

I tend to disagree. Supposedly destabilizing world events rarely have direct correlation with gold or commodity prices. They seem to follow their own wave. There is a small but definite correlation with short term moves of indices and Fed, earnings, inflation/employment and other economic announcements.
