Let's say the President sincerely believed that Iraq possessed wmd and therefore an invasion was justified on that basis.

So that will solve the problem in rebuilding Iraq and creating a viable government and economy there?

How?

And will the entire UNSC membership be willing to apologize, including Hans Blix, who also stated he believed Iraq possessed WMDs?? Especially all 15 members who declared Saddam in material breach via UNSC 1441?

How about Saddam Hussein apologizing for deceiving the UN inspection teams and disobeying his cease-fire and disarmament obligations?

How about France, Germany, and Russia, and all the other benefactors of the fraud perpetrated on the oil for food program? Don't you think they should apologize for defrauding not only the UN, but the Iraqi people?

Or maybe you believe those "truths" don't need to be acknowledged, right?
