What I meant was that if he had some active people posting on BBR and if he could find a valid reason to, he would try to inject life into some of the more languid threads. SI seems to me to be a very fluid beast and BBR was not as relatively active as some other threads. BBR could die at any moment and what better plan for SI ADMIN than to 'seed' other, less active, discussions with 'energy' from more active ones. That is what I meant and I didn't mean to offend, but you are perceptive, I did live in San Francisco. I do see your point that other threads have political content, but so does BBR. I just assumed SI ADMIN was trying to move political discussion to a more blatantly obvious political thread, and I disagree with SI ADMIN that it doesn't belong in BBR.
