That is what openness is all about. You will never be able to do anything about the spin. That is human nature.

When its open , if there is spin, there will be spin in both directions. And, then there will be people who have no reason to spin. When you can see, hear, and read it all, (see the eyeballs, see the body language) - the bs will not make it.

What is really worse than the actual bias of the press in general is their refusal to simply and forthrightly acknowledge it. To me, that is more insulting, damaging, and corrosive than the bias itself, which is pretty transparent in most cases. It's the hubris that attends the bias that is most disturbing, to me.
