I take a NIMBY stance; if other threads want to be littered with garbage, they can ask for the "privilege". But I like to see SI Admin cleaning up the neighborhood I live in.

I am not a fan of rigid gated communities with 23,467 rules. But I don't like anarchy either. Plenty of that elsewhere on SI already.

JMHO.

Since SI Admin declared you and I the same person, I've not been myself or you.

If and when thread moderators take ownership of enforcing the TOU on their threads (as is done on iHub), that will be a good thing, as I'm sure almost everyone will agree.

That's really quite ironic, since someone invariably complains that unmoderated threads should be left alone by the admin whenever one intercedes. I don't understand where they got that notion anymore that where others get the notion that moderated threads should be off limits.
