I am proud of what Kerry did after the Vietnam war. He argued admirably that the war was pointless. He was right.

A valid criticism of Kerry concerns his choice of words, not his actions. Big deal, he was 27 years old!

Anyone who opposes Kerry simply because he opposed the war is wrong. I applaud Kerry's courage for standing up for his convictions.

Every so-called "vet" speaking for the rightwing is a liar, hypocrite and just plain disgusting extremist.

Talk to the men who REALLY served with Kerry on the Mekong, bled and sweated with him under enemy fire and you'll find out the truth. He is the real deal, the real thing, a great American. And if he protested when he came home, God bless him. That war was wrong, based on lies and just plain hell. 55,000 Amerians died for nothing. Vietnam was never any threat to us whatsoever.

The Vietnam War was the worst thing that happened to this country in our lifetimes. But at least JK had the courage to fight it and not evade it like Cheney and Bush. Bush still continues to lie about going AWOL. That is what this is really all about, Bush's cowardice and lies, his lack of character.

If the rightwing keeps this up they may have McCain and Hagel switching parties and supporting Kerry. It's that serious.

So those folks come on and say that Kerry is not fit to be C-in-C. Who are they to get that press coverage? You think their words carry more weight just because they are Vietnam vets? It they think that their opinions should be honored then shouldn't they be fighting for the welfare of their fellow vets?

Why do these folks think their opinion should be given more attentiion than the ordinary American who thinks Kerry is a hero fit to be C-in-C when they view him against Bush. In fcat Bush is even worse since he evaded going to Vietnam. What do these folks have to say about that. Consider a war evader Bush to be more fit than one who served. Come on folks, this nation does not need those bozos to express themselves publicly.
