Aha! The magic word. Intifada . I do not recall Israel issuing anIntifada, do you???? And why did Arafat turn down the sweetheart of a deal offered the Palestinians, brokered, of all things, by Clinton. They were granted everything they asked for. Easy answer. The Palestinian Authority does not want peace for their citizens. They want all Israelis dead, gone, or under their control. They rather see the Palestinian citizen grovel in abject poverty and filth, and perpetuate hate for the United States rather than join the civilized world. When your rulers are stealing the treasures there must be an enemy to hide their actions. This suits the entire Mid-East, and the Palestinian people are the scapegoats and fools. The Saudis contribute $2 billion a year to the Palestinian gov't, and Arafat and his cronies steal most of it for their hidden accounts. The Arabs have been murdering each other for so many centuries it is a way of life with them. Look up the massacres at Medina and Mecca not too many years ago, those cities the Arabs consider so holy, if you would like to know a little Arabic history. Incidentally quoting from an obvious Arabic web-site does not give the other side of the story. The vast majority of Israelis murdered have been citizens. Women, children, babies. Is this permitted under your International Law? Proud of the bombers and assassins, are you? The brutalities of the Arabs against Westerners, and even their own, are legion. Burn, mutilate, decapitate, hang, and drag behind vehicles is their way. Ok under International Law??? It is amazing, a once great civilization deteriorating into less than animalistic behavior. The Islamic way. KM
