I am not the one who brought the issue up, and the first time or two it was brought up I let it pass.

You're right, I did think the war would start much sooner than it did. I was wrong, and, further, am glad that I was wrong.

I don't think you're insane, I think you pretend that you're never wrong because of Male Answer Syndrome. It's sort of like never wanting to ask for directions.

As for being useful in Abu Ghraib, yes, I would have objected loudly and frequently to all and sundry about the sickening abuses there, and hopefully that would have limited them. I can be quite persuasive, if only because people get tired of the sound of my voice.

I pride myself that most people would rather back into a buzzsaw than keep arguing with me when I am right.
