I heard of the radio (NPR, not sure if it's true) that when they released prisoners the other day they took them by bus 90 miles away so that it would be hard for the press to find and interview them.

They tell us that they've liberated a country and its people from a tyrant while they are torturing, maiming and killing those same people. I am disgusted.

And Ten doesn't think there is a cover-up.

There are people who don't realize their spending is out of control until their attorney tells them to file bankruptcy. There are people who don't realize the forest fire is a problem until their roof catches fire. They are people who don't realize their marriage is falling apart until their significant other walks out the door.

I wouldn't pay much mind to Ten.

JF, And Ten doesn't think there is a cover-up.

Maybe I ought to revise my statement. I think the sensationalism is out-of-control, cover-up or not. You're right, though, there is every reason to believe the military would have wanted to keep this under wraps. Is the sensationalism going to help prevent cover-ups in the future, especially with a press corp more eager to persecute our soldiers over those who murdered and mutilated Americans?
