Perhaps you need to re-think your position... Sorry to disappoint, but the reaction was NOT the same. The treatment of War prisoners is being used for political purposes. That's why it is getting played 24/7 in the media. You just don't get it, do you? The crimes perpetrated against the Iraqis were not only horrific, they were against all we stand for as a nation, and what we were supposed to be accomplishing in Iraq. People are disgusted and dismayed.......it makes their stomachs curdle. Its you who is trying to make this partisan so you can assure yourself that its not that bad. Well, it is that bad.......deal with it! Why do you think Bush went on Arab tv? He's deeply worried the impact this will have on American foreign policy and on the treatment of Americans around the world. Again......it is that bad........get your head out of the sand and accept it.
