"I want an apology from the Arab media when Americans were burned, mutilated and dragged through the streets of Fallujah"

I have posted very little on this issue, Brian. The reason for that is that I think the best course is to apologize, suck it up, and get on with taking care of Iraq.

Being defensive just won't work. The "they are worse than we are!" is the wrong way to go, IMO.

I agree with you & I agree with LB's POV too. We can't go
around screaming they are worse than we are. That is a no
win situation for everyone.

What we can do is suck it up, show the world we really do
have higher standards by investigating, prosecuting,
punishing & making reforms in a very public way.

We can simultaneously demand that the world raise their
standards for those who continue to commit unspeakable
atrocities & get a pass every single time they do it.
