Kerry, who just yesterday called for Rumsfeld's removal, obviously has some explaining to do. His rush to judgement demonstrates his lack of seriousness regarding the war on terror and in leadership

I think the American people are getting the measure of JF Kerry. He's an opportunist, that's it and all about it. Those who are desperate to get rid of Bush will vote for him anyway. I don't think he'll get too many swing voters if he keeps going this way. Even if Bush gets into real trouble (50% job approvals say he's not there yet), Kerry still must offer something to beat Bush. All he's been offering so far are obviously empty slogans.

And when it comes down to it, who really likes Kerry? Who wants him? I live near Boston. I ought to be seeing scads of such people. I hardly see any. The Boston Globe can barely stand Kerry; the Boston Herald hates him outright. Who likes the guy?

WE ARE AT WAR ....M~ That was a fine, and valuable post! There are many in the Left and Left media that don't want to acknowledge that.... Their desire for power seems to be all that matters.

It seems to be easy for so many to hide their heads in the sand....9-11 seems to be a distant memory for some. I do believe that there will be evidence of Saddams ties to terrorism that will be credible. We already know, and have known for over a decade, of other country's involvement in terrorism, and unless people are totally blind, deaf, and dumb, they have heard the words from many of the terrorist groups, including A-Q, intentions toward the US.

Well said M.

I've been listening to the hearings for a while this
afternoon. There is a lot of partisan grandstanding &
finger pointing. And those who are doing it aren't even
listening to the responses. Some of the hacks are even
asking why we are in Iraq, why no WMD's have been found &
what our mission in Iraq is.

I thought this was a hearing about the prison abuse
scandal?

"They come off looking unreasonable, unprofessional, petty and above all partisan when they pull that crap. This does not look good to Americans who understand the stakes and that we, as a nation, are at war.

(sometimes I just want to write that in big, bolds letters in hopes it will sink in......WE ARE AT WAR"

AMEN
