"At my age, I am part of that history". Come on, young lady, you're not that much older than the rest of us. We HAVE lived a lot. It's nice to hear what happened, especially as that history is compiled and corrected.
Sometimes perceptions turn out to be reality, and it is nice to see that confirmed. For instance, I was at Cal during the Free Speech Movement. It was a common "paranoid" perception that the feds were watching and even tweaking with us. As the years have passed, those suspicions have been confirmed; the feds were even watching Pres. Clark Kerr on behalf of Ray Gun, who was then running for gov. It's nice to see the JFK stuff starting to dribble out, too.

Yes, we have lived in interesting times, and we will/are again.
