Teresa Heinz Kerry is the ultimate unpatriotic person because she foisted her playboy of the western world husband on the American people as a presidential candidate. If it wasn't for her $500M he would never have decided to run. I agree, Mrs. Kerry should speak more often. They've kept her rather muzzled so far.

Think about it uw. Her husband was one of the most outspoken anti-war activists back then. You'd think he would have said what Cheney did was very patriotic. :-\

Kerry graduated from Yale in 66 and enlisted in the Navy in 67. The draft wasn't reinstated til 69-- was there some other kind of draft before that? (I can remember the 69 draft vividly) Had he waited til 69, his number would have been 39, but he wouldn't have been included since the eligible birth date was 1944 and he was born in Dec. 43.

I am getting rumors that Kerry volunteered because his student draft deferments had expired and he was about to be drafted. Probably wanted to control which service he went into. Also read this somewhere. He chose USN to avoid the Army.
