We added 200,000 new part time jobs but 100,000 full time jobs were turned into part time jobs.

not necessarily. i.e., if the category of part-time complainers is part of the total employed workforce, then presumably the same people are complaining month after month. therefore, it would be "double counting", "triple counting", etc. to subtract that figure repeatedly from the net adds each month.

of course, the numbers of adds are mostly works of fiction anyway, and should come crashing down in short order thanks to the spiking rates, methinks. but perhaps not until Shrub gets reelected.

I have seen several help-wanted signs in local supermarkets and discount stores recently. So perhaps the job market is improving in Florida.

I for one have never doubted that enough almost "free" money could trigger a decent bounce in the economy. But this kind of bounce is not sustainable and the ultimate financial price to be paid for all the additional leverage and debt will be nothing short of horrendous IMHO.
