"There's also strong arguments that there are more terrorists in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia."
Is that the biggest understatement I've heard lately?
The Pak's are letting OBL's boyeeez cruise around Pakistan... they love him. Syria also. And don't even get me started about Saudi Arabia. My ex-wife lived there 7 years. Her dad worked for Aramco.
They just cannot tolerate democracy. That would entail honesty is their government IMO. Culture shock.

LOL...your one less person i'd ever vote for President. You sound clueless and regurgitate the standard talking head gobbly gook that you hear from Lush Limbaugh IMO.
No supportive facts only conjecture and speculation...a bunch of"I thinks" So I give you a grade F-

You erred on the following points because it is Fact:

1. We knew there were NO al qaeda in Iraq...

2. Our intelligence delibrately mislead the American People and the world. The so called evidence was fabricated
from the bullshit mobil labs to the bullshit weapons of mass destruction hocus pocus Charts Colin Powell gave in his presentation. It was all a rouse to topple Saddam.

3. Regime change...remember that little dousy...that was the whole basis among other strategic base manueveering.

If i am wrong...surely there would have been more coaliton members signing on to stop this hideous threat that was found hiding in a spider hole known as Saddam. (Found with a 45, his cook and a yellow taxi LOL) No one bought it. Not Europe not the UN...Now the world is safer you'll say.

4. History will prove me and all of those that said this was a pretext used just for a premptive strike to topple Saddam and setup military bases for strategic reasons not to mention to control the reserves....The catalyst was made soon after Saddam demanded Euros in exchange for the oil for food scam and the blueprint for invasion began nearly 3yrs ago.

Speak for yourself. I never thought Saddam was a "terrorist". He was a despot and a thug. He had, in fact, good reason to fear religious fanatics like bin Laden.

We went after who we thought was a terrorist.

Osama bin Laden had been saying for years, "America wants to invade and occupy an Arab country, an oil-rich Arab country". That's part of his propaganda.

So what did Junior do after 9/11? He invaded and occupied an oil-rich Arab country which was doing nothing to threaten us. In other words, we stepped right into bin Laden's propaganda. And the result of that is that al Qaeda and organizations like it, offshoots of it, second-generation al Qaeda have been greatly strengthened.

The last "terrorist" threat of ANY kind Saddam tried was pre-'93 when he attempted (and failed because of luck more than anything else) to have Bush Sr knocked off. NO evidence of any kind since then. That is, until we attacked Iraq 10 yrs later. Now the place is a breeding ground for terrorists.

We went after who we thought was a terrorist.
