Btw, not sure if anyone's interested but X and I are still engaging in this "exchange of views" related to exactly what facts were, and were not, known about Saddam's WMD program just prior to the start of the war. For those of you who seem to believe that Iraq was in "relative compliance" related to disclosing ALL of the information related to its WMD program, here's a link to a 175 page document issued by UNMOVIC just prior to the war that lists all of the areas in which Iraq was not in compliance and what they needed to do to meet such a standard.. 175 pages of apparent "lies, deliberate falsehoods, and hyperbole" on the part of Bush as the pro-Saddamists would have you believe (and you'd literally have to be pro-Saddamist in order to ignore the content of that report and claim it's not "credible").. But that many of these same liberals also fought tooth and nail to prevent disturbing images from 9/11, such as people jumping out the WTC windows to their deaths, on prime time TV.. I don't remember any "liberals fighting tooth and nail" to prevent disturbing images from 9-11. Can you provide some kind of data to support this (aside from "a caller on CSPAN")? Sounds like another convenient fabrication to support an unsupportable point...

All of these images must be seen by all so like the Holocaust, we will not forget. We need to know as a nation that we are capable of such horror so we can prevent it in the future. My work in a Federal Prison in the U.S. for 4 years taught me alot about 'human potential' for violence under stress by good citizens. I think while we are reviewing and investigating our policies in Iraqi prisons, we do the same in the U.S.. We are a violent culture and the only way to change it is to acknowledge it. Myron
