Let me put it this way kholt.

If it were me that had suffered the ATROCITY that those 4 men suffered I would want the world to see and know that there are people doing things that ALL civilized societies must condemn. And I would expect that illustration would graphically inform everyone that there are problems within the community of man that we ALL must confront and solve.

And I would hope that if we could ALL see these atrocities we would become so disgusted that something would be done about it.

Of course the perfect example of this is the prison at Abu Gharib isn't it?

Even if mine are false hopes, we don't get that opportunity because someone, somewhere has decided what we can and cannot see according to their interpretation of what is considerate.

I don't buy it.

Maybe if EVERYONE were allowed to see, and therefore understand what true barbarism is, something would be done. I suppose someone could argue that it would desensitize mankind.......I don't buy that either.
