Hi Mr. Cow, I have a question...I received an "Update alert" from Microsoft, I downloaded the suggested needed updates...Now I have a dogs head, and a link with casino sites.

It had to have come with the updates, as that is all I've done. I also get a warning from Microsoft that says...."I can uninstall n-case"...I've never installed it. I went in once and did the uninstall, but it keeps popping up..has anyone else had this problem?

When I go in to uninstall n- case, microsoft pops up and says certain things can harm my computer...What has microsoft done to me???

hi TC,

i downloaded and ran regcleaner4.3. i didn't notice any improvement.

can you tell me how to do a registry restore in w2k? would it be fairly safe? if so, i'd like to try it before i try other software. it has only been a few days since my laptop was infected with the worm. it might do the trick. what do you say?

update: i'm able to open my microsoft office suite again and all the documents that i've made. i think it must have been the regclean program that i said i didn't notice any difference. well i guess it made a difference after all.

thanks TC, your help is much appreciated and won't be forgotten..
