The Bush Administration has been demonizing peoples from many countries, including Iraq.

Let's define some terms before we continue this exchange.

Are you saying that Bush has been demonizing certain "peoples" he believes are evil, such as their political or religious leaders, or that he's demonizig the entire country's population as a whole.

It seems that anyone who criticizes the Bush Administration (arguably the most corrupt administration since Nixon's) is a "Saddam-lover".

Well, he did say that he was siding with the insurgents. And many of them are calling for the return of Saddam Hussein..

Why does is if illogical, or inaccurate, to assert that if he supports the insurgents, he supports their ideology??

And if you believe it is logical, then why can't he support the American troops and the mission they are trying to accomplish, even if he doesn't support the President?

Think about your response please, before you answer..

Hawk

<<< The Bush Administration has been demonizing peoples from many countries, including Iraq. The country that he hasn't demonized (or kept out of his "evil-doer" designation, is the country that was most complicit in 9-11 but has strong business ties with the Bush family). To call a country "evil doers" and "terrorists" when they've done no evil or terror to us is demonizing. >>>

One thing Bush has not done is to call for war on Saudi Arabia.
The attempt is to stabilize the ME and the oil producers, not destroy the major producer who has ties to nearly everyone.
SA is doing very well in trying to control terrorists.

N Korea is using their nuclear power plans for blackmail, which seems to be threat and could be called evil. And using 70% of their income for nuclear development while destroying the economy and starving citizens could be called evil.

Lots of evil going around today.

Maybe the IRC is investigating the wrong people ? They could not stand the heat in Iraq, but do not mind sending people in on a fast trip to tell us what to do.

What IRC rules apply, do they have to send us the head to bury along with the body?
