I think it is highly relevant the Stanford planned two week Prison Experiment investigation into the psychology of prison life had to be ended prematurely after only six days because of what the situation was doing to the college students who participated - in only a few days, the average college kid guards became sadistic....... what does that tell us about the nature of human nature? personally I think the military needs to train personnel to be prison guards and make an example of those who particpated in the abuses - sending a strong message, zero toleratance, period
