Steve...

Why did you edit out these paragraphs from the original article?

First this:
With Tuesday’s attacks, Abu Musab Zarqawi, a Jordanian militant with ties to al-Qaida, is now blamed for more than 700 terrorist killings in Iraq.

Then this:
The United States did attack the camp at Kirma at the beginning of the war, but it was too late — Zarqawi and many of his followers were gone. “Here’s a case where they waited, they waited too long and now we’re suffering as a result inside Iraq,” Cressey added.

If you notice, Zarqawi had set camp in Kurdistan over which Saddam had little or no control. He couldn't set foot there without being subjected to airstrikes.

And we think the Kurds are the "good guys"! Wait till that one runs out. After all, Rummy said Saddam was a good guy and that was about 15 years ago.

We seem to create new problems as a way to solve existing problems. And sure enough, the new problems come back to haunt us a few years later. And all the time, we are ruining our economy and destroying our middle-class and impoverishing our poor to fight these endless wars...
