"dislocating every major Arab regime... helping the Arabs destroy Israel. Which option was it that you favored? "

Well I guess you could be considered a voice of moderation here, simply because you refrained from using either "ISLAMOFASCISTS" or "NUKE EM ALL" when ripping into a poster who believes that a relative peace in the Middle East can be achieved.

Even hardened warriors like Begin and Dayan, when they came to the end of their days, realized that making peace with the enemy was the only proper legacy. For the benefit of clarity, "peace", by the way, does not mean either surrender or ethnic cleansing. I know that conflicts with every noted policy wag who calls into Rush from his SUV on the "front" just to scream how we need to kill more Arabs, not less.

Certainly there are both Palestinians and Israelis who are willing to fight to the bloody end, just as there are many who remember the world before September 2000. If this nation is to resume any semblance of playing the mediator in the Middle East, demonizing one side at the expense of the other is not an option, even if you support it.
