Good point. Instead of focusing on Arab countries focus on countries with predominant Islamic majorities.

I wonder if it's the continuous exposure to volatile organic compounds from millennia of leakage which makes them demented. Or maybe it's the reverse and the Islamism causes oil to congeal from the Earth and gather in pools. But wait, there has been oil in Texas and Pennsylania for a century and they aren't Islamic. Venezuela is more of a Catholic place and they have heaps of oil. Oh, hang on, maybe you mean Moslem places with oil go the Islamism way. But Pakistan has Islamism and even the only Islamic bomb and is into head-hacking and carnage, albeit not as official policy at present, though noocular bomb technology was being sold to Libya, and maybe others [and I don't see why they wouldn't also sell the actual bomb if it's transfer of technology and money that they want]. Afghanistan hasn't got oil but had Islamism in spades. I know people say Moslems aren't all Islamic Jihad fan club members, but if they believe their own source of inspiration, they are, because the Koranic Karnage Klaims [KKK] are that Islamic Jihad is a good thing and dhimmitude is better [if I understand it correctly]. Murder is built into their ideology because unless people believe the KKK, they are dealt with in ways not conducive to Life, Liberty, Laughter [LLL] such as head-hacking in halalujah style. I think KKK vs LLL is the issue, not oil. Or, K vs L for short. That's where the word KIL came from. The conflict between K and L theories on life. "I" end up stuck between the two theories. In english, we stick another consonant on the end of the word, the same as bill, dill, fill, gill, hill, jill, ... Hence, we get kill. Oil is just the enabling technology which funds the monstrous megalomania of Islamic Jihad. But keep in mind that Moslems have had colonial empires sending soldiers through their living rooms for a long time. The Roman Empire stretched a long way. Kublai Khan ruled in no uncertain terms. The British Empire, WWI, WWII, USSR all saw military action in the streets and foreign domination. I dare say Americans would get sick of having Mexican or Japanese soldiers roaming around Wall Street rounding up terrorist-looking gaijins and gringoes by the thousand to be treated in ways not conducive to LLL. LLL depends on the principle of Live and Let Live [LLL]. There's too much KKK whether of the Khristian or Koranic style. The Khristians were all fire and brimstone, stonings, burnings at the stake and beheadings, up until not all that long ago and some of them are still keen on the idea, but separation of church and state has reduced the worst of their excesses, though there are still plenty of deaths by psychotic crushing of skulls and demon-driving exorcisms, not to mention the fun-times of life in the IRA.
