I'm very interested to learn what happened in Chongqing in the 1940's, in connection with the US. Army. What I do know was that after August 15, 1945 the US. Army quickly left Chongqing as the war was over. So you must be referring to an event during World War II. There was no U.S. infantry in Chungching. There were only basically a bunch of US army clerks in Chungching (Double Celebration, the city on the Long River in Szechuan (four rivers)). What are they reported to have done?
