The reasons for this war are in their imagination, they have acted upon these reasons and they will continue waging their war until either they, or the infidel (everyone else), is defeated. Since it is a war of ideas and values, it can never cease until their values and beliefs supercede all others. Once upon a time I learnt that people who hear imaginary voices and are motivated to kill others, on account of this, are clearly schizophrenic and should be institutionalized. While on the subject, do you think there is any way the conflict can end without a civil war (for lack of a better name) in the US?
