I wonder when we will see the outrage and outcry against Buchanan that we see against Kennedy...

I've always thought the guy was a boob.

One speaks his treason from the Senate dais. The other is just part of the noise. I see a difference myself.

I wonder when we will see the outrage and outcry against Buchanan that we see against Kennedy...

Apples and oranges in the Political field, Karen. Buchanan's article gets almost no play, Kennedy is on the front page and lead of all the media.

Bucannan is a man who is a never-has-been, and probably most consider him such. I certainly do not give him credence.

Because of JFK, Ted Kennedy continues to get major press for every ugly and preposterous utterance.

"I wonder when we will see the outrage and outcry
against Buchanan that we see against Kennedy..."

Let's see.... Should a politician called the heart & soul
of the Democratic Party, one of the longest serving US
Senators, who can draw wide press coverage whenever he
wishes, receive the same level of coverage as loudmouthed,
right wing personality?

OK, that was a rhetorical question. In any event, I
haven't seen much mainstream media outrage over Kennedy's
latest pile of gutter politics. Barely 48 later & it's
nearly forgotten by the few that bothered to cover it sans
outrage.

"On March 19, 2004, President Bush asked, 'Who would
prefer that Saddam's torture chambers still be open?'
Shamefully, we now learn that Saddam's torture chambers
reopened under new management: U.S. management."
