Pretending?

I don't think I said that. I said we can't be SURE yet. I am for real not sure, I'm not pretending. Obviously if you are sure, you are sure- even though you don't have all the facts. I was trained to be fact oriented, and I cannot overcome that training. You've never heard of copycat killings I suppose. Oh well, if you haven't heard of them, they won't be in your data set, but they are not uncommon.

They videotaped that beheading too and released it.

It was very clear and meant to instill fear in westerners.

Why is this Berg tape so murky, with 11 hour gaps in it's timecode?
It seems meant to intill puzzlement, not fear.

Seeing as how there is no Sedalia, Kansas, the rest of your scenario holds up about as well. The chaos that has ensued from the Bush fiasco in Iraq has no doubt opened up the country to many new criminals and terrorists. The neocons are very quick to then point and say "see..see? el Queda really was in Iraq!"
The fact of the matter is, Iraq was less of a haven for international terrorists under the dictatorial regime of Saddam Hussein. Is it a good thing he is no longer in power? Of course it is. But there was no need to go in the way Bush did and throw the country in chaos, and needlessly kill thousands of innocent Iraqis. Interesting, isn't it how the Bush supporters like to rave and rant about the barbaric slaying and butchering of the American contractors in Fallujah. But has anyone seen, in the US media any recent statistics on civilian deaths in Fallujah from US military reprisals? According to the BBC at least two thousand, conservative estimate.
By the way, Sedalia is a fine community in central Missouri.

Zarqawi is leading a terror group in Iraq. He is al Qaida.

That's odd. Just a few minutes ago CNN's National Security correspondent denied that Zarqawi is Al Qaeda.

The Zarqawi/Al Qaeda connection is Neocon propaganda. The idea is to say the two names together as often as possible, and then people will believe it is true. Kind of like how Bush convinced over half of this country that Saddam orchestrated 9/11.
