Ah the "blinding of the mind's eye" explanation. But when they are stumbling about, (and stumble they do!) why do you think they almost always end up in liberalland? You must acknowledge that a high percentage of the thread's regulars don't agree with your perception that there is no "hidden agenda" behind the curtain. (By the way, I am also fair minded and a middle of the roader but I am a proud liberal that admits it...and have been from the days before Reagan's crew decided to cruelly make the word a pejorative...so why don't I recognize any trend in the main stream media that I or any other card carrying Liberal can feel at home with?

Changing the tone completely, I got back last week from my sixth trip to the New Orleans Jazz Fest, I may not know much about Lindy Hop music but there were guite a few hot if unusual bands that you can dance or swing to.

Try these:

Red Stick Ramblers
Los Hombres Calientes
Kermit Ruffins and the Barbecue Swingers
Bonerama
(and the wonderful) New Orleans Klezmer All-Stars
