Then his body was mutilated by Americans to CYA or some other propaganda objective responsive to the Abu Gharib scandal.. <<

Lieberman was still coveting his slot on the Democratic ticket for the 2000 election... Besides, keep in mind that the US uses the "Muslim problem" as a wedge to meddle into European politics: for instance, it's in the US interest to keep Turkey isolated and outside the EU regardless of the US's official pleas to the contrary... Likewise, the breakup of Yugoslavia and its ensuing instability allowed the US to barge in... I suspect that the US doesn't want Europe to hit it off with her Muslim/Arab neighbors without the "American madam" pimping the affair.... Gus
