Well CR - we now agree that your statement was incorrect. That is progress. kerry did not say he voted for the ammendmant. He said he voted for the 87 billion before he voted against it. The reality appears to be that he never voted for it. The final vote was at the end of the ammendmant process. Then it was sent to the House and finalized.

So - it appears his action may be even more deceitful than I thought.

I must admit I enjoyed the research exercise.
