That's an absolute canard, particularly given what we know about French and UN corruption in the oil for food program. I bet it goes a lot deeper. France and Iraq are big trading partners, France is broke, and Chiractor likes his job.

Chiractor was on Saddam's payroll. After 12 years of Saddam's noncompliance with multiple resolutions and shooting at our pilots, another month would only have made the weather less favorable for our troops.
