using the linear chart....from the peak of early 83 across the peak of 87.....

there was another spando inside the big one started in aug 89..that one is easily defined on the linear chart

IMyNotSHO... you can't draw a spando-megaphone from 1983 that's worth damn.....
Waste of Time..... pissing into the wind....

In any case Stockcharts only goes back to 1990, so if'n I wanted to.... I couldn't share it....

Page 150 of Murphy's "Technical Analysis of the Futures Markets" calls expanding triangles.... "The Broadening Top"...but Most call them bearish patterns...

Spando looks like that.....
Now Don being Don.... he saw something different and considers spando's bullish...

I did this chart which he okay'd....
The upper line always starts first off a high and needs a higher high out of the original trend...
The lower always starts forward off a connected swing low and needs a lower low out of trend...
