And welcome back....glad you had a good time. Thanks, Karen. It was a family issue trip. But I managed to get in some good eating. Again, didn't Blix and company say there were NO WMD in Iraq? They had ALL been destroyed. Where was the proof of that. I don't know what Blix is saying now that he said then. But what he said then was that he could not find any and wanted more time, a couple of months, to look. I don't recall him ever saying, in that period, that there were none. Just that his inspectors had not found any. My own recollection of the thrust of his comments was that he suspected something was there but one should not go to war on suspicions. Wait for the evidence.

It probably is an old shell that someone was trying to gerryrig. And of course there are more but this is not the wmds/delivery systems we were looking for. No one in the admin should falsely raise expectation unless they are certain there are at least tens of these shells out there. I heard david kaye briefly on a news channel and he said much the same thing. Admin should always level with us and so far they are being very responsible. Right wing talk show is yelling SEE SEE they have it. Premature gloating is NG. mike
