Is it possible that Ariel Sharon ran a huge con job on Condoleezza Rice? She was apparently the administration official who most owned the endorsement of the Gaza pullback.

Even that nominal pullback, a few thousand settlers in return for huge concessions, he could not actually deliver. I suspect that he knew that... it's a variation on the "will you have sex for 10 billion dollars" thing. If the mark says yes, then the follow-up is "now you revealed your true nature, its just a matter of negotiation".

And nothing sexist intended, the fact that Rice is female is purely coincidental.
