If Iraq is slipping into chaos, why is the value of the dinar holding steady against the dollar? That doesn't add up. Who wants the currency of an imminent civl war?

Honestly, Steven -- would it be so terrible to give the Iraqi government --- whatever that means -- control over the army and security services of Iraq?

I feel compassion for the Iraqi people, but this "you broke it you buy it" attitude only goes so far.
