A friend, who has a linksys BEFW11S4 wireless router, cable internet with 1 PC hooked asked me for some help in setting up his lap top to access the net using linksys card.. Is there a check list one can go through to make sure everything is set up right since I cannot make it connect.. Anything I can lookup on the net specific to linksys.. Found the manual that comes with Router very poor in terms of user interface and overall explanation of the big picture.. No diagram, pictorial to make it easier to follow .. Laptop shows the driver etc. properly installed, recognizes the card, shows that signal is kosher etc.. on the Desktop PC side, there is NO WEP encryption etc. Is there anything else that needs to be done on the router or PC side ? Thanks..
