Paul, you people are wasting a lot of space on a non issue. The fact that about 150 Israeli servicemen object to the means that are employed to prevent attacks on Israeli pregnant women (and point blank execution of her 4 children), does not make that specific group, or any other group more right or wrong. The solution is simple, the Palestinians must produce a leader which will unify all the various factions and milizias in the west bank and Gaza under one command, a command which like in any country, is subservient to civilian authorities, they also must abandon the dream of "Palestine from the river to the sea " (still in the charter of all the various Palestinians factions). If that dream is not abandoned and if terrorists are not reigned in by the Palestinian authorities, the Israeli have no choice but to implement the securities measures on its own. Sure, out for the one million plus soldiers and reserve soldiers, 150 may object to the method employed and refuse to participate. I would guess that a good 200,000 plus soldiers also object to such methods and would like to see another solution, but they take the stand, "if I refuse to do it, someone else will have to, and it will be immoral to lay on that someone else's shoulders the responsibility of protecting my family, so I have to do it".
