Not true if you live in a income tax free state.
Tax revenues usually stay the same regardless of the tax rate, so since the fed is getting the same amount . Wouldn't it be better if more people are working and keeping more of their OWN money. Then with a higher rate where less people put their money to work investing in businesses which hires the people who pay taxes
