It is ironic nonetheless. What makes it interesting is like ancient Athens, Rome, on up to 21st century totalitarian states, as the power of central gov't emerges to engage the citizenry completely, everything starts becoming political. It is rapidly getting to a level of gov't sponsored polarization where you'll be asked to declare in favor the Regent or face ostracism, or worse. The previous post of "Summer of Terror" from our kind and gentle gov't spokesperson is preparation for such.
