Your belief in: "Go with the flow!!" and "Better to play the trend and make profits" contrasts starkly with the investing wisdom of Sir John Templeton: "The time of maximum pessimism is the best time to buy and the time of maximum optimism is the best time to sell."

Using your logic it could be inferred that we all should have been buying stocks in early 2000.
