in response to a very well thought out and carefully presented, reasonable argument.

Perhaps you haven't been following my end of the discussions so you don't realize that, as usual, whatever reasonable arguments were in there had nothing whatsoever to do with any opinions I expressed but rather were aimed at distorted figments contrived by him. I've tried pointing out his strawman fallacies, explaining and re-explaining my positions, to no avail. I've tried ignoring him, but that hasn't worked.

Unnecessary and uncalled for cheap personal attack

Given the history of this bombardment, I would disagree with your characterization of my most recent approach, nonetheless I'm receptive to any suggestions you might have for more appropriate ways to respond to his incessant attacks over positions I didn't take. Perhaps somewhere in your experience with military tactics you picked up an effective counter to the strawman?

Regarding the substance of the most recent attack, there were three points. Here are my stated positions on them:

I oppose bias in the media regardless of the direction of the slant.

I am clearly aware that a drop of sarin can kill you given that it was the very basis of my questioning whether a gallon could be considered a "small amount."

I am waiting for further information on the type and amount of chemical in this bomb before drawing a conclusion on its WMD status.

If there are any "flaws in my thinking," they were not surfaced in that attack on me.

*Snort.*

C'mon, it's tough enough to converse one-on-one these days, and likely to keep getting tougher, do we really need an amen chorus piling on?

I vote no. I also vote against the substance of your argument.

Or do you want everybody who disagrees with you or that you disagree with to go somewhere else?

Unnecessary and uncalled for cheap personal attack . . .

Actually, she nailed it. Directly.
