How do you know Abu Ghraib has nothing to do with Al Qaeda?

I assume that the various nasty annoying defense attorneys who are defending the various guards in the various courts martial would raise that as a defense.

I find it interesting that not one story, not one! has even thought it worthwhile to enquire who the abused prisoners were.

You have mentioned this before and I have seconded it before. Very odd. I also thought it odd that the administration so meekly backed off on their methods.

The only inference I can draw from that combination of events is that the prisoners in question were nobody know-nothings who could not be justified as warranting more strenuous treatment. I would like to see it covered directly, though.
