Okay, just so we have clear that by 'hoax' you are saying that there is no Jimmy Massey of Waynesvill, NC who was interviewed by the Sacramento Bee guy.

Why isn't your friend providing this information to the RW press? Is it a secret?

I think it's unwise of you to claim the nonexistence of someone who exists.

A better idea, and one that would be credible, and even possible, human nature being what it is, would be to take the position that Massey exists, was a marine for 12 years, and for some reason known only to him left the service with an honorable discharge, making certain claims that you feel aren't well enough documented to be of concern you.

But since you didn't.... How about making me a bet about whether the guy is nonexistent or not?

I say Jimmy Massey exists and resides in North Carolina. You say he doesn't reside anywhere because he doesn't exist. Neither of us makes claims for the veracity of his statements, because that's not the issue.

You choose the amount.

Okay? Bet me?
