But you think Kerry would want to put McCain on the spot? On second thought, he may call upon McCain to put party aside and consider the country first. In which case he could appeal to McCain ti rise to the call of service to country similar to what they both did in Vietnam. Interesting to see what happens.

The McCain constituents (especially the Repubs) were pissed off at him during the primaries in 2000 since they viewed him as anti-annointment of Bush, which the Repubs are famous for.

I'm not too keen on Breaux. As far as I can tell, he's just a little left of Zell Miller. I might have to vote Nader if Kerry picks him.
