Dave, wasn't there a policy in days of yore, where someone got booted for 3 days, and then if they did it again, for 30 days...something like that? IE there was a graded series of "SI jail terms", that gave a poster ample slaps on the hand before he or she was totally banned. Even tho Pat was a loudmouth and insulting etc, it does seem that banning someone from a specific thread, although it calms the thread down, does make it moderated even if the person who started the thread didn't intend it that way. It's a bit confusing. Sometimes the loudmouthed threads are entertaining. I know it's a delicate line, but part of the spectacle of this thread was how it reflected all the controversy around the bu$$...and that in itself is the essence of this "story" stock. So in a way it's revealing of sentiment, which is something even people focussed on t.a. like to look at. Just my Sunday 2 cents.
